Chamber of Commerce welcomes Wells Fargo as its official bank and one

than 25 years, Wells Fargo has committed over $1.2 billion for tribal
governments, gaming and American Indian businesses. Wells Fargo also
has one of the largest store (branch) networks serving Indian reservations.
As a longtime supporter of housing development and homeownership programs
in Indian Country, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage has originated more than
6,500 home mortgages for American Indian families and has produced 30
percent of all HUD Section 184 home mortgages on Native American reservations.
In addition, Wells Fargo has provided 32 community development loans
totaling more than $88 million to Native American/Alaska Native organizations
in Alaska, Arizona, Michigan, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon

investment portfolio is valued at $21.4 million. The company’s
Native American Banking Services Program offers credit for reservation
development including construction loans and project financing, and
it offers bond issuances and tax-exempt financing especially designed
for tribal governments for infrastructure improvement and cash management
